Forum Rules
1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect.
2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule.

Hello, i am Paul and i am owned by Koda. My wife and i have had the pleasure of koda for a full year now and she has been a lot of fun and frustration ^_^. I just found these forums and have been browsing them and finding a lot of good information. Just wanted to say hey! and look forward to sharing a lot of hilarious stories.

Thanks for the warm welcome. Yea We named her Koda because i am a programmer and thought it would be cool to name her the female tense of code, plus it kind of went with my gamer nickname kodefoo. Pretty much it comes down to the fact that i am a nerd ^_^

Welcome! We're in the Sanford, FL area with our German Shepherd/Husky/Great Dane mix, Evo. However, our cat's name is Coda (musical term). Glad to have you on the forum!

Welcome Paul! We're currently in Orlando as well. Are you a member of the Sled Dog Meet up group of Orlando? Our next meet up is September 13th at the West Orange Dog park. I'm hoping to be there and would love to see you and Koda along with Jess and Evo. Think either of you will be able to make it?

Oooohhhh - meet up! Val - I'll certainly try, but Lee was laid off 5 weeks ago and we're trying to limit our driving. West Orange Park was about an hour away. If he gets a job between now and then, I'll try to be there. Which by the way - if anyone knows of someone hiring in the IT business - ANYWHERE in the States, will you let me know? We are willing to move!

Paul - hope to meet you and Koda! Lee being an IT person, loved that you took the feminine form for code with your pup! Our cat is Coda and he's named for the musical term! That was our first choice for Evo though...unfortunately, the cat came to the dog's name and the dog came to the cat's...so we switched it! LOL

Aww I'm sorry to that about your husband Jessica, I hope he finds a job soon. Wow, I didn't realize the park was that far from you. Well if you can make it we'd love to see you, let me know if you'll be there if you guys do decide to go. This economy is not making things easy for finding a new job. My husband has a job but has been trying to transfer to a different location but with all the layoffs all over the country things don't look good.

Hope you can make it to the meet up Paul.
