| So, we are looking at getting at possibly getting a buddy for Dante. My question is, would he most likely get along better with another male puppy, or a female, or does it even really matter? It's probably been asked before, but I can't seem to find it |

| I don't think it really matters. I've heard it's best to get a male and a female, but I have two females and they love each other. My mom has several dogs and some get along and others don't. Just depends on their personalities. _________________ -Sara |

| BTW, getting another puppy when Dante is only 4months is going to be a handful. You will need to make sure he's not too rough with the puppy. Also I always advise people to get their first dog as trained as possible before getting a second, cause two misbehaving puppies at the same time will be hectic! I think we kind of rushed on getting our second puppy and we got her when Siku was 10months old. I don't think I could have dealt with a 4month old and an 8week old! I was taking Siku to her puppy then obedience classes around then. _________________ -Sara |

| It really depends on your dog, Embry is super dominant with other males, so we went for a female, and we've never have had a fight between them in the year they've been together..
