Jack reminds me so much of Bode. Especially the way his mannerisms come across on camera!

Who made my heart jump out of my chest and piss me off at the same time.... JACK!!!! he somehow manged to get stuck under the deck when i was getting a shower, i had no idea where he was i could hear him crying but it took like a min to realize he was not out front or in a neighbors yard but under the deck! in my work dress and nice shoes i had to get on my knees and dig a trench under the beam and try to get him out with treats, when that did not work i tried pulling him out and that resulted in a high pitch scream so i gave up and played mean mommy and when in the house. not a min later he was in the kitchen covered in dirt, i knew he would figure it out after i gave him plenty of room to wiggle out. just dont know what end he went in to get under there. since adding the steps there are only 2 spots to get under and one is blocked with flagstone and the other with an old step top.... hope he learned a lesson and will not pull that move again. i was 20 min late to work! these kids....ifs its not one its the other causing issues. _________________

i doubt it was a critter, they have learned their lesson and have stayed out of the yard so far this summer, were at 0 kills right now for the summer. _________________

| Haha! I had two beagle pups for a short time when I was younger and they would dig under our shed right before it poured then get stuck and howl as we were trying to dig them out in the pouring rain. It never failed every time it rained I got drenched and covered in mud cause they were always scared to come out or something. Gotta love when the pups get themselves into strange situations!

Did the booties stay on, or did you have to use the duct tape trick?

Michael, they are from dogbotties.com they seem to stay on ok if i get them tight enough to start with. if i reorder i will get the taller ones. i tend to lose them in deep snow so i dont put them on for shoeing. but with the negative temps today on the cleared concert i was worried and put them on. _________________
