Hello,

We live in Brockport with our 3 huskies, Skye, Ryker & Damien. Damien is a dog that we are currently fostering, possibly adopting (and changing his name). I enjoy dog sledding, just started dog scootering, playing with my pups & my 2 teenage boys.

I was always a cat person & made a jump from cats to huskies. I just couldn't resist Skye's beautiful blues and little chocolate nose. And she was slightly cross eyed & I loved that too.

I tend to rescue all the misfits because I can't imagine where they will end up & worry they won't be loved by anyone else.

I strongly believe it is our job to educate people about the husky breed to help promote responsible dog ownership. Every year myself and my pups read books to elementary school students, visit preschools and other schools. I tell the kids all about the husky personality & hope I am planting the seed that not all dogs are calm & cuddly. I have organized a Responsible Dog Ownership Day in our area & hope to continue to help educate people about dogs so they can make informed decisions when they adopt a dog.
