This is Shiro N., our male Husky. He's born in February 2011.
A little side-information: he's been with us for almost three weeks. We're already his fourth owners... And we're so happy with Shiro!

I'm not really good with words, so here are some pictures of him Smile
and I might update often, since I love taking pictures of Shiro AND because I'm gonna try a 365-days project

Previous owners said he's an Alaskan Husky, now what i understand is that Alaskan Husky isn't really a breed or anything defined much at all. He does look like he could be Siberian for all i know. We know nothing about his parents but at least we know he = 100% Shiro Razz

Well, I know nothing about the parentage of either of mine... They are probably both mixed... but who cares? They've got that husky attitude and they sure do look like huskies, too. No matter what, they all need love. Very Happy

just making sure you knew Alaskan husky was not really a breed Wink many people are confused about that and since we are here to teach as well i wanted to make sure you knew. with those striking blue eyes he could be all Sib. and you are all right, does not matter if he is 100% or not we still all love our pups Smile

I'm actually not familiar with the breeds, but my boyfriend (anarkii) seems to be Smile Jbealer, thanks for the info! I really appreciate it. I'm looking forward to know more and more about huskies.

And for now, another photo! (sleepy- again)

Well, I am very glad he found you two! I always feels so bad for Huskies that have been rehomed so many times! I don't get it. I personally don't think they are that bad! Honestly, I think 90% of the human race is LAZY and just don't want to exercise them properly. Even my two little puppies go bonkers without their daily walk.

Adobo was 17 months and entering her 3rd home when we rescued her from being shot as a chicken thief, amazes me as shes so mellow in the house, but makes sure I get my daily dose of walking.

AAHHH! I got Jas because i thought huskies were beautiful. I knew absolutely nothing about their disposition. So for the first year or so I had her i was not a very responsible owner at all. Matter of fact, I have really just stepped it up in the last 6 months. Anyway! She was a chicken thief as well! We laugh about it now but I payed for several chickens to keep her from getting shot! For bein a flop of an owner in the first years i had her, she is a superb pup! And this forum has helped me quite a bit! I think her and i are happier with each other than we've ever been. lol

This forum has made me a better owner as well! I've learned so much in the year I have been on here.

I love the upclose Black and white photo!

We're planning to contact his previous owners, about his parents! Hopefully we'll get more information.

I made some more photos of our lovely Shiro. He's learning fast and really starting to feel like this is his home Smile

Smile That's my boyfriend (also a member here, Anarkii) with Shiro. They're really a couple together. Shiro doesn't like me as much as he does Simon (anarkii) Razz And most of the time I'm the one taking the photos so maybe that's also why I'm not on them Wink
