Forum Rules
1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect.
2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule.

My name is Seth and I am 24 years old, and I am engaged to the most wonderful woman in the entire world Elisa, and we are getting married this march! We already have a "peekapoo" named Romeo and our newest addition to the family is a little Siberian Husky girl named Stella. (Still not sure if she is 100% Siberian Husky, we plan to get a dna test ran) She is 12 weeks old and I must say she is DEFINITELY a handful. She is however a timid and shy. I know so little about her past, for all we know she was abandoned and left on the street then picked up and taken to the shelter. We walked in looking for a dog and saw this sad little face sitting in a corner and it was "love at first sight". She is starting to come around ever so slowly, we have only had her a little over a week now. But she LOVES other dogs, and kinda unsure about people at the moment. I will post some pictures on here later to introduce herself Smile. Also if anyone has any advice on what to do for her to ensure her that she is safe, please feel free to throw some advice out. Thanks so much and I'm glad to be here!

Stella is really pretty no matter what breed she is. Both of my huskies could be mixed with something but unless I run a DNA test, I'll never know... and honestly, I don't care. All dogs need a loving home, no matter what. Very Happy I'm so glad you brought Stella home. Also, congrats on your upcoming marriage.

She is very cute! Glad she found a good home! I dunno about those DNA tests. I've heard they don't work that great, plus I've seen a bunch of dogs who got it done (the shelter I foster for has to have all their dogs tested) and man, I really question A LOT of those results!
