| Since Illinois is skipping winter this year my yard is a mushy squishy mess! Any of you have any good tips or tricks for cleaning paws, and legs, and sometimes bellies?
I tried having a towel but it turns into a useless muddy rag pretty quick. |

| Oh good post! Similar to Illinois, Minnesota is doing a pretty good job of skipping winter as well...
It seems no matter what steps we take, our wood floors do a good job of tracking Brewer's movements throughout the house. We have been cycling a number of bath towels at each of the entrances / exits, but I do like the idea of using baby wipes.

| I have this... I love the mitts becuase it makes it easy to get their feet good and clean. Plus it's antibac so it doesn't have to be washed after every use. |

| I saw a product at Target last month that made me laugh. It was basically a plastic container that you are to fill with warm water. The top of the container has a microfiber "puffy ring" around it. You are to insert the dog's muddy paw, give it a swish, then remove and dry off! I tried to find a link to this online and can't seem to find it.
FYI, we keep a red Solo cup available to fill with water and dip paws in if the mud is bad enough. It costs nearly nothing and really gets the mud loosened up, then you can just towel right off.
These huskies are nearly "self-cleaning" anyway! |

I saw that at our Target the other day. Might have to look into it... _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. | I use a plain old towel for minor muddy clean ups. For heavy duty jobs I use my HV dryer which kills two birds with one stone, blasts the mud off while drying. _________________ |

| We use baby wipes too - but just make sure whatever you use isn't toxic since the doggies may lick their paws afterwards. |

| We used the Paw Plunger (http://www.pawplunger.com/). It worked really well, until the dog-sitter left it out and it got used as a chew toy.
It has warm water in it, and bristles inside, and does a great job of cleaning. Just need to make sure to have a towel handy to dry with. |
