Forum Rules
1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect.
2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule.

Kiba - Wishing You Happy Woos Empty

As I got onto the topic of Kiba at another place on the forum... I thought I would post the few pictures I have of her. She was very pretty. I saved her from EU at a vet clinic the next town over. I hate to see them put down and I think her time was pretty much up, I'm sure she had a couple days to maybe even just a few hours left. She was a ACO pickup.... I adopted her out because she was very "aggressive" with her movements and HATED Diesel with a passion... and my huskies have to be together 24/7 due to my living arrangements so I knew that it wasn't going to work. I adopted her out to nice girl who was the same age I was when I got Diesel (4 months past 18). She had her for a week and didn't listen to me about her issues with other dogs and promptly put her with several. Kiba minorly attacked a chi and she was going to bring her back. The night she was supposed to bring her back her mom called and viciously cussed me out about the whole situation (still confused about that) and when I got home I had a very nice (it really was nice) email from the girl who adopted her saying she loved her and just couldn't give her back. I haven't heard from them since. It still stings pretty bad since it was only a month ago this all happened, but I'm confident she was being treated very well and is/was being loved on.

She has a spot on her eye from old debris that got into it. The vet thought that she was starved most if not all of her life. She was a small 35lbs when I got her and that was after being fed for two weeks. She was nearly at a good weight when she left, maybe only another 1-3 lbs and she would'ave looked amazing.... her coat was blowing when I got her, she looked awful. I loved that girl.

She was very sweet and timid.... it took her 2 weeks to even hold up her tail and the first 3 days she slept more than my pup has in a day. Poor dear. Thanks everyone. Smile
