Forum Rules
1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect.
2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule.

I took Titan to the park today by himself so he could warm up to me a little better. I had him out all day yesterday and he let me pet him a few times.
Today, however, he got scared and jerked his leash from my hands.
I've called the local pound and posted pictures on Craigslist and every Facebook page I can think of. He's micro chipped so that's good.
All I can do at this point is hope someone manages to catch him.
He has two collars and a leash on so I assume someone will know he's a pet.

I hope you find him! I shared the facebook page with a friend in Enterprise and she shared the info with the Army spouse's club to help get the Rucker community involved. Keep us posted!

Thank you so much! I have to let it work itself out now. With my health, I can't afford to worry about him.

He will be easier to catch than if it were Zephyr lost, I'm sure.

Ghost tried to make a break for it yesterday, but I managed a diving catch of the leash as she streaked by. Crazy sled dogs...

I just printed a few flyers to take to Pet Smart and two other pet stores. Everyone at Pet Smart knows me, Zephyr, and Titan. If someone brings him in, I hope they call me.

Yes, he's my newest baby too. I just got him at the end of January. He got away from me yesterday, but went straight to the car to wait for me. Today he tried to go to the car, but it was across the road and he was scared of that.
There was just so much going on and he was so very frightened.

I went out and posted a couple of flyers at the pet stores but since it's Sunday, they were all closed. I'll call the pound again tomorrow and see if I can get hold of someone.
I left my gate open tonight. I really doubt he could find his way home, but larger miracles have occurred with dogs! I hope he'll smell Zephyr and his yard somehow...
