PostSubject: Hello from Roseville CA   Hello from Roseville CA EmptyWed Mar 28, 2012 8:59 am

My name is Brady, it has been a while since I have been on here, I posted a few things a while back... I got a husky from http://www.galenacreek.com/ about 2 years ago, recently I had to move home and I had to let my Aunt temporarily watch my husky (Kiara) in Redding (About 3 hours away.) She was tearing out the drip systems and pouncing around in the plants at my parents and they did not like it very much... She is finally back home with me now after about 8 months, my aunt lives around a lot of land and a couple weeks ago her new thing was to find any loose board or hole to get out of to run in the fields... There was cows, rams, sheep, horses and it was too much temptation for her to heard them... She had gotten out a few times, luckily nothing terrible happened until 2 weeks ago when she got out in the rain and my aunt ended up looking for her and was standing on a railroad tie, she slipped and fell and broke the shoulder she had surgery on a few years back. I felt awful and they decided it was time for me to pick her up, my parents didn't want her back here but she has been doing a lot better then before... I was facing having to give her up which i did not want to do, I have wanted a husky since I was a kid so for now she is home with me... Now I am just looking for ways to keep her tired, what food to keep her on to help shedding exc.

Anyone know how to change my profile picture and add a signature?

Anyway, Hello!

That's awesome u got your dog from galena creek!! I love my dog!! I really want to switch her to taste of the wild. My aunt switched her to fromms adult classic and none of the feed stores have it here, they only had fromms chicken and veggies.... I tried that and came home to diarreah in my room. I know tmi but it was bad... The house is airing out now... So no I have to run to the store and pick out a taste of the wild flavor, any ideas, I kinda wanted to keep her on chicken and rice like she has always been on, any suggestions? Fromms is also too expensive, 65$ for 30lbs!!

I am down for play dates! I take her to parks but right now they are all muddy Sad

She also got fat at my aunts. She went from 40lbs to 60lbs. She was eating baby birds. Insects, and walnuts so she lots her pretty figure. I'm now bike riding w her to help her loose the fat.

I just got back from the pet store. Got her chicken flavor TOTW.. Giving a supplament w it to help her stomach issues since I didn't have her previous food to slowly transition her into it. Mixed it w cottage cheese as well... Hope she doesn't have more accidents in the house : /

I use the salmon and duck flavors. I just kinda figure, what would a wolf eat? lol. But i mean any TOTW product is quality, and is 90% of the time okay on a huskies stomach. I know there are a few people on here who have pups that can't tolerate it, but the vast majority of people on here will back TOTW alld ay every day, including me! Smile
