Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect. 2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff. 3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned. 4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. | Where to begin?! We decided on a husky from some friends we know that have them and some of the research...We purchased and black/white female husky and named her 'Sniper' we have a 4 year old pug whom i was worried would not take it well about getting another dog. However they have bonded really well as you can see in my avatar photo! Our pup was born 08/25/2009. She is 16 weeks today! and the adventure has begun! She EATS everything!!! This is no LIE! from socks to power cords, you name it and if she can get it in her mouth...its over! We are working on crate training. She seems to do ok but has the occasional accident for a pup. She has had the worse case of worms our vet has seen in a long time! we got her when she was 8 weeks old and we have been treating her since! Still has round worms...but we go for our check up this friday the 11th to be checked and treated again ;-( I see a lot on here about shedding and food....she is on a diet of purina puppy chow since this is what the breeder had her pups on. My pug is on a high protein diet for energetic dogs. I will be putting "Sniper" on this diet as soon as we decide she can come off the puppy food. Other than a few rough spots here and there potty training is going smoothly. Still working on the chewing stage! We do rawhides and pigs ears and she still gets into everything! I know this is part of her nature but come on! I'm up for all the advice i can get! I know you guys are tired so I am done and will browse around some more ;-) |

| Our husky mix LOVES his rope toys - as long as it is near, he doesn't chew cords...Which would explain why he dug up the sump pump cables at my in-law's house two weeks ago - I forgot to leave his rope with them. Try the rope. :-) Gorgeous pup and family! |

| Start a thread in the advice section about the eating issue. It'll stand it apart so more people will see it and help you out _________________ www.itsahuskything.com It's a husky thing... you wouldn't understand. |
