Forum Rules
1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect.
2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule.

It is 4:48 am and everyone is sleeping but me :/ I just can not sleep knowing I'll have her in a few hours! I'm so nervous and excited at the same time. Ugh... sleep where are you?

I had the same problem before we went to pick up Kairi too. Try to sleep while you can though because the first few nights were pretty rough for us. Kairi was the last one of her litter to go and she cried/howled the first two nights like she was dying. We ended up having to put her crate in our bedroom where she could see us at all times. Take lots of pictures though and enjoy it! Even though they are stubborn at times getting Kairi was one of the best decisions we have ever made! Good luck today Smile

Wellllll... it's 7:44 am and I am still up. Grabbed a shower and loving on Dexter as much as I can before she gets here. The house is cleaned and puppy proof so I have nothing left to do but wait.

I was like that when we were searching for a puppy. I had been wanting another husky and finally on a sunday night when I had to work at 10 am, I convinced Chris and he finally decided it was the right time for it. Needless to say, I was up until 7 writing down all the numbers for breeders etc. and looking everywhere for puppies! I got a whopping two hours of sleep, but it paid off around 10 am when I called Karnovanda and they had Cato! I even got off work 3 hours early to go pick the cutie pie up! Smile

We drove 4 hours to get Koda. I didn't sleep the night before, either, and the whole car ride I was having an anxiety attack from anticipation! We got lost trying to find his breeder's place (they lived out in Snowflake, AZ- it's mostly places spread out with a lot of acres and there was no road or anything!) and she accidently left her cell on silent and I was a mess, haha. Thank god we found it!

So happy for you. Getting your puppy after waiting for weeks is the best feeling ever!
