2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Thats terrible but I heard read even trying to make a husky a fighting dog usually ends up in the dog being killed or disposed of cause they are not "fighting" dogs at all... For the most part I heard even abusing them usually wont even make a husky a good fighting dog... People just think they look mean so they must be good at fighting...

I know huskies are commonly stolen I did't even think of not putting the address on her tag, I probably will opt out of doing that when I make a new one.

All these articles are seriously making me doubt the intelligence of the news media around the world. Honestly... dog baiters? It could be true, but where the hell is the evidence saying so? Because the police said "Yeah, it could be dog baiters" that means that husky-napping for the purpose of dog baiting is true?

I honestly want to smack the person that wrote that article.

I don't think people would steal them for dog fighting... I mean, not sure about everyone elses' dogs, but you couldn't ever get my dogs to fight another dog. They'd just roll over and sleep! Dog flipping of the sort? Sure. I believe people would try to steal them to sell them since people are under the impression they are work 2K +.

They would be used as bait, meaning the dogs who do fight would use them for practice and a chew toy, they wouldnt be the ones fighting.

Shows how much I know about dog fighting, haha. Thank you for clarifying. That's disgusting.. But regardless, I still think it's more likely for flipping since them being used as bait was just a random throw out there by this article.

Yeah, sadly I've seen what happens when people use dogs as bait. One couple lied about adopting a pitt mix and used her as a bait dog and then returned her a few months later. She was very, very torn up, but thankfully she's fully recovered with just a few scars showing and now is a therapy dog! Dog fighting people just look for a dog that won't fight back or muzzle the bait dog just to give their fighting dog practice. It's sick.
