| Forum Rules | 1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect.

4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. | Hi, my name is Kati and we have been owned by a husky since October! I have always wanted a Husky, but was never allowed to have one because of one bad owner. She couldn't control or train her huskies, so of course my family blamed the breed, not the owner. It didn't make me lose my love of the breed! In October we found a husky for sale on craiglist they said they would be putting him in a pound if someone did not get him! So in a sense we rescued him! He has been nothing but a joy and I love him to pieces, but owning a husky has not been easy! My mom couldn't stand all the hair so in June she told me it was Vegas (are husky) or me. So I left and now my mom and I don't talk. She can't believe I chose him over her, but I wasn't about to lose him! I love him so much! I am a very happy husky owner and love waking up each morning to see my baby! |

| welcome where in Missouri are you?? We got our second Husky for a shelter in Missouri drove 3 and 1/2 hours to get her. She is a real sweetie gets along with Blaze our first husky which we also got off of Craigslist in Tulsa.  |

I hope your mom comes around, sad a little hair came between you two. It's always been my opinion that if you truly love someone you don't ask them to give up something they truly love. Good for you standing your ground. |

| We are near St. Louis! It's good to know that when we want to find another husky here it won't be that hard!
Hopefully she will! She knows Vegas is my baby! There was just no way I was giving him up! |

| Hello Kati! I am in Missouri as well. Love our husky too. What is a litte (sigh!) hair. lol! Hopefully your mom will come around. I have been working on my husband for years He says he hates the hair, but he plays with our Kye ALL the time. We've had four huskies. They tend to grab hold of your heart and never let go. |
