| Woke up this morning to get ready for work, went to take Kota outside, opened the back door, and low and behold there was snow on the ground. Granted this shouldn't had came as much surprise since the weather channels have been telling us all week that it was going to happen since Hurricane Sandy was meaning up with the cold front we have currently been getting. Of course I was not happy to see the snow at all, since I was hoping that winter would hold off a bit longer, but looks like that isn't going to happen.
Now on to the best part. This is the first time Kota has seen snow and boy was she surprised. Typically when I open the back door in the morning she bolts down our back stairs, but today she just kind of stood there and expected them. She started by tapping it several times with her paw before easing down them. That didn't last long, because the next thing I know she was running around the yard like a maniac and rolling around on the ground. It was quite funny, and I so wish I had a camera or at least my phone to get some pictures.
Even though there wasn't much snow, it was still enough that it covered our grass, but once I got into town to work there was no snow on the ground. That was at about 645 this morning, and now at 930 the snow is still coming down here in town but not sticking, so maybe once I get home this evening there will be enough that she can actually play in, hopefully with a few picture ops for me.
As for everyone in WV and everywhere else, be safe, I hear ya'll are getting the bad end of this storm. |

| I thought it was pretty cute myself! Like I mentioned above I REALLY wish I had at least my phone with me to get a couple pictures of her. She was loving it. I had to force her inside with a nice brib of ham.
My husband was off today so he was still in bed sleeping, so when I finally got her in the house, she sprinted to the bedroom, drove into the bed, and layed practically on top of him getting him all wet. He was not very happy, but I couldn't help but laugh a bit. |

| That would have been awesome to see!
Onyx had so much fun in his first bit of snow when we brought him home in January. His favorite thing is to just sit outside in the weather. It was hailing here in MI this morning and he was just outside, not giving a care. Needless to say I can't wait til snow comes.
Stay safe out there whoever may be along the east coast. |

| We woke up to snow this morning too. Its still snowing, but not really amounting to much else. I'm so upset because I left Ava with my parents for this week because I was afraid I'd lose power. Now I have no one to enjoy the snow with |

| Tika's first snow was priceless. I loved seeing it. She lost her marbles completely on the walk. I can't wait to see her do it again this year, and see how Ripley is in the cold. She hates rain so we are hoping that doesnt translate into snow too, we love walking in the woods in the winter. Tika goes bananas. |
