Forum Rules | 1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect. 2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff. 3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned. 4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule. |

| I cant even get myself to watch the video, I read the story and WTF is wrong with people. If a cop is that trigger happy, he should be an officer. This just pisses me off. |

| Poor dog. I would try to run away and be aggressive after being hit with a damn taser. Seriously messed up people out there. |

| That poor dog...some people just don't get it. Scares me to think what would happen if Karli got out, she loves people! Would she be considered aggressive because she runs up to them? |

| well living here its all over the news and this morning i saw the video on the news. it really pisses me off, the dog was in the home! we keep hearing more and more about the wrong doing of the cops with dogs and its getting out of control. the poor guy who called animal control is a mess right now over the loss of the dog, he had no idea it would be killed. he just wanted the large dog caught so it was not running around the streets. make me wonder what happens when i call animal control on loss dogs i see running around..... _________________ |

| Yeah.... That was just sad.... and maddening. Granted the video was far away and grainy, but there wasn't a THING from what I saw that warranted that. That was just sick. The poor pitt was just Fleeing.... ~Chris~ _________________ Is this about the cake problem? What's the matter with you mathematicians, cake is never a problem. - Professor Lazlo

| After being tasered I don't blame the poor thing for trying to run away. What did they expect her to sit pretty and beg for treat's? Even if the dog did that, I'm sure they would say it was viciously showing teeth and were forced to put her down. Always an excuse |

| Ahhh - this makes me so mad!! No disrespect to Colorado (and any of you from there), but this is disgusting!! It can't be good when these types of people are on the police force. People make me so mad sometimes!! I hope they get what's coming to them... |
