Forum Rules

there is still some snow left from 'superstorm sandy' here for the dogs and humans to enjoy while we wait for the normal winter snows. also seeking refuge with the dogs skiing in the state park areas where there is no hunting allowed since it just started deer rifle season and having a deer chasing dog isn't the best scenario to be elsewhere right now! my boy alone isn't the best for ski jouring or pulling uphill when i tried once, but loves to chase skiers down the hills. thinking of looking for a multi-dog harness to use with the other local huskies also just to see what happens and if they like it.

Absolutely love all your outdoor shots. You're so lucky to have that just out your back door so to speak .

That's a pretty good tele turn in picture # 3. I've gone over to the dark side (AT) because after five years of trying, telemarking was never instinctual. My first telemark was OK, but I never could link them.
Looking at some Voile Vector BC's with Dynafits for this season. Bodhi won't come with me when I use them. No metal edged skis when I ski with him.

we love our doggies and skiing with them as much as they like it! lately there has been enough snow that all dog hikes and walks can be done on skis whether it be at home or in the woods. and our local ski area even has a dog specific trail system!

My friends say their dogs do. My husky...not so much...he is hard to tire out and he even wanted to spend the night outside last night with temps of 15F.
