You take such a nice pics of your girls. I try taking pics like this for molly, but my cellphone camera (galaxy s2) is not that good. I need to get a better camera.

Konica Minolta Maxxum 5D, I'm planning to get my own camera sometime. I may go Canon or stay with Sony, not sure yet.

I've been really happy with my Canon Rebel XTi. I originally went with Canon because of their higher shutter speed, and at the time I was doing high level competitive taekwondo. I wanted to be able to get good action shots. Now I can get great action shots with the dogs Smile

I played with a Canon at this bird-watching convention last weekend in Toledo. I loved the shutter, i just touched the button and it took like 6 pictures. I hate touching other peoples stuff though so when he told me to try it out i was like "Uh, okay...." I think he said it was a 5D?

The 5D is a lot nicer than the XTi, the XTi is more of an entry level DSLR. I do like the multiple shot function though, it makes it a lot easier to get really good shots at the dog park.

Whatever camera body you decided to get, make sure to get a lens with a wide aperture. I use a Panasonic Lumix-G3 with a 20mm pancake lens that opens up to f/1.7. The standard 50mm lens usually opens pretty wide and you can get one for about $100 on ebay

She always wants a belly rub! If you walk up to her while she's laying down she'll wag her tail and lift her front leg up and her back partially.
