| Well I did a search on finding pet barriers and I only found one thread, and the products are no longer available. I have a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and I really NEED a pet barrier. I need one that is made of good quality and heavy duty for all three of my huskies! I have been searching sites including amazon. I found a couple and was wondering if anyone has any of these? Or if anyone has better recommendations?

Thank You! |

| I have the first one and I've really loved it. I was a little worried about it because some of the reviews aren't wonderful, but I've been very happy with it.
I should mention that Pippa never actively tries to get to the front of the car. I'm not sure what good it would really do to prevent a dog that was determined to get out of the back. But as for normal shifting and movement (and Pippa occasionally leaning on it), it stays in place really well. It's fallen one time, but that was after my dad put it back in the car and didn't secure it well enough. You have to really twist the supports to ensure that it doesn't shift around too much. However, both of the barriers are set up in the same way in that respect, so it comes down to which actual barrier you prefer.
If you're dogs aren't hell-bent on escaping from the back, I'd definitely go with the cheaper one. But if they'll try to get out, I'd go with the more expensive one because it allows you to lock the panels into place that adjust from side to side.
Hope that helped! |

| We have this one for when we drove a 2004 Grand Cherokee http://www.amazon.com/Remington-Vehicle-Safety-Barrier-Black/dp/B000WT6M2O/ref=sr_1_14?s=pet-supplies&ie=UTF8&qid=1361907282&sr=1-14&keywords=pet+barriers+for+jeep
I loved it, still have it actually. Dogs never got it down, or through it as hard as they'd try. One thing I'd recommend though with it, is to put a towel or something along the top of the barrier, it ripped the fabric on the ceiling of the car. |

| I've only taken them for a long car ride maybe twice when we went camping, and they were both well behaved. But of course they were a lot younger and smaller. Usually when we go to the park, or to the vet..they will jump back and forth from the back to the passengers leaving fur everywhere, blocking my view, or trampling the kids. Thankfully I live in a small town so everything is about 15 mins away. Now that camping season is coming I wanna be able to take them with us. MInus the fur and craziness.
