Forum Rules | 1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect. 2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff. 3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned. 4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule. |

| I'll write exactly what the owner sent us, its a friend of Chris's brother. Hey Chris,
We had somebody tentatively tell us that they are interested but I can't really gauge how serious they are about it. We were hoping to place her with a family that would suit her needs, as she is a very high energy dog.
Her name is Luna, she is 7 months old (born May 16) she has all of her shots but she is not yet fixed. She is house broken. She goes to the door and scratches when she needs to go out but accidents do happen on occasion. She understands basic commands (i.e. Come, sit down, lie down, paw) but she can be stubborn at times. I'm sure you're aware but her breed really likes to test the patience of the 'pack leader' or 'alpha male'.
She isn't good with cats. She's ok with children but she's getting big and she's easily excitable. She can knock over smaller children but she isn't aggressive in nature. She's actually very submissive with people and other dogs.
She is crate trained and is accustomed to being in the cage during the day but she would benefit from having owners who would be able to spend a lot of time with her. If she spends the day in the cage she has a lot if pent up energy and will be bouncing off the walls all night.
I will let you know if anything changes with our potential owner. In the mean time here's a picture of her.
Oh yes and she's about 35 lbs. and will be between 50-60 when full grown. She is a pure bred Siberian husky.
Thank you very much I really appreciate it. You didn't have to do this but I really appreciate it!

That's a link to her photo. Hope that works.
Goes without saying that Chris and I are willing to help transport. We can even get her over the border if we need to. Please let's help get this girl in a good husky home.

| I hope you guys can find someone soon. I would volunteer to take her but I don't know how my parents would react to that. Probably not very well and my hands are already kind of full... ;-; |
