| It will be interesting to see how this plays out. Purina is claiming independent lab tests confirmed that blue buffalo products contain both chicken by-products and corn.

| Wow. That is interesting. It makes you wonder how many other brands advertise the same thing but the ingredients tell another store. :/ _________________ |

That's exactly what I was thinking. And yeah, it'll be interesting to watch this one play out. _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. | I wonder how unbiased the labs are though and how they would test for chicken by-products vs. chicken. |

| I don't like Purina. The only motivator they have to doing this would be to weaken the competition, and there are so many ways that they could skewer the results. I mean really since when did Purina of all companies ever actually care about what they put in their own dog food?
Now I'm not a huge fan of Blue Buffalo either, but many people swear by it and dogs seem to do quite decently on the food. So if there is any corn/chicken by-products in there (which there very well could be) then I would think that it would have to be in an almost negligible amount. Especially since so many people claim that it's a high quality brand. I mean it has 4-5 stars on DogFoodAdvisor, which is more than you can say for Purina. |
