Dave, over at Petful has sent in a couple of followup notices on current lawsuits.
Smuckers owns Big Heart Pet brands and produces Gravy Train, Kibbles 'n Bits and Old Roy.
The suit makes several allegations primarily that Smuckers was aware of the presence of pentobarbital in their food and continued to sell it.
Ainsworth produces the Rachel Ray Nutrish brand
This suit alleges that the maker did not list all the ingredients on its label.
Read if you want and make your own choices about the veracity of the suits.
On a side note, since Dave'd Petful strongly advertises The Farmers Dog I figured I'd go take a look. My major qualm is that the grand total to put all three of my dogs on The Farmers Dog would cost me US$156 per week - that's about what I spend on my food budget for a month - sorry guy, you're out of my ball park._________________
