So this is concerning Bullet, my GSD/lab ..... This is the second time this has occurred but it looks like he may have hot spots? He has about (no kidding) 10 dime to quarter sized rawish spots on his legs and stomach... I've never seen him lick or scratch at them.... and none of them have exceeded the size of a quarter, yet... When this happened before the vet told me it was just a fungus that puppies can get, gave him an antibiotic, and sent us on our way... however I don't know if the antibiotics did anything because our dog sitter had to give them to him because we went on leave soon after. I read the hot spot discussion and his spots definitely are not as big as the other dogs'... But I absolutely cannot get him to sit still for me to shave the hair around the spot just in case. Going to make an appt with our vet but was just wondering if anyone had an ideas what it could be and why there are so many of them!
