| I came across this product from a link one of our local rescues posted. I was looking for a anti-pull harness so I figured I would give this a try and I love that 50% of the sale goes to a rescue you choose.
It arrived last night and so far I am very pleased with it. I have only had Char for two walks on it, but he walked loosely on the leash both times. It was also very easy to put on and he didn't mind me putting it on him. A little early to give it a proper review, but so far very pleased.

| I've been considering one of those harnesses for some time now, but I just have yet to buy it. Lycus needs some work still with the first 10 minutes of the walking before he stops pulling, and 70+ lbs is not easy to handle lol. |

| Wow, that sounds like a great harness. Tundra has always been a "puller". I did get him a Gentle Leader (I think that's the name) ...it goes around his head and nose, kind of like a horse bridle. Anyway, that was some time ago, and I didn't have much luck with it -- he still really wanted to be in front, and pulling. Maybe I didn't use it properly, or long enough. This harness you're showing us seems like a real improvement on what I've tried. I simply must try it!!! It is relatively inexpensive as well! Thanks |

We use it for Juneau. She didn't like it for about 10 mins but does well on it. It's tricky to size right and put on properly. Maybe he was just really stubborn. This harness is neat. I already have a Gentle Leader, but if I'm looking for a harness, I'll put this on my list of things to consider. |

| @ VintageJeans (Jackie): Yep, that's what it is then, the Gentle Leader. Maybe I'll give it another try. This harness really is neat, also, so I do have my eye on that as well. Tundra is going to need a lot of extra love and walks |

| Hey There! Dante loves his Walk Your Dog With Love harness! He walks very nicely in it, unless there is a squirrel nearby (lol). I really like it because I got it in black, with silver reflective material. It looks very minimal and helps for those night time walks if you are going to be around cars at all. I prefer it over the Easy Walk/Gentle Leader, because I have had 2 Easy Walks fall apart on me, one time it was while we were walking and Dante ran over to some random people in my neighborhood who thankfully grabbed his collar and held him while I retrieved him. I don't know how the Easy Walks started to unravel, but we walk in the woods a lot so anything is possible I suppose. My point being I've had the Walk Your Dog With Love harness for over a year and never had to replace it. The material I suppose is more durable I would say in comparison to the Easy Walk, but I have never had a problem with any chafing or rubbing on Dante, it fits snug, but not too tight. They have great videos on their website detailing appropriate fitting and how to put on the harness if you haven't done it before! Hope that helps! We love ours! Plus I like that it is a smaller business, like you already noticed that gives back!! -Brittney & Dante |

| I have a different brand of the same harness. Works pretty well. And if they try to take off sideways after a squirrel, they wipe out, as the harness pulls their leg opposite of the direction they're trying to go. Really handy for us petite ladies trying to handle monsterous beasts in less than savory weather. |

| I just got Nanook's harness in last night and took him for a walk for the first time and man do I have to say he HATES the thing lol! I made the mistake of putting it on and taking him out for a walk.... didn't work out too well. He thew a fit and just kept grabbing the leash and where the harness leads out and would tug and throw his body around. Took him back to the apt where there weren't any distractions and walked him around and he calmed down/seemed to accept it a bit more. Took him out later with it and he seemed a little better. I haven't been able to take him out on a longer walk since but I'll keep you guys updated on that. Did you guys have similar experiences the first time you used it or do I just have a stubborn pup? haha! |
