| Hi, Greetings from South Africa. Me and my wife got ourselves 2 Husky puppies in October last year. We've enjoyed them alot and it's great having them around. They are just past 6 months old now. I've managed to learn them a few stuff like to wait to start eating food until I say so, and I've managed to make them sit and lie down. However, I know there's alot more to learn them and we are planning on taking them to a professional trainer when winter starts. I am a runner so I would like to learn them to come and take a jog with me when they are a bit older. Here's some pics the day we received them. I have some more recent photos of them but will post it later on. Codi is the black one and Maxi the lighter one

| Welcome! Codi and Maxi are adorable! Good luck with the training, you'll be amazed at what they are capable of. _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. on a side note where does one find sibs in south africa? Yes they are litter mates. Both male. Are there a reason why you ask? Our vet just frowned and said it's not a good idea while others don't see it as a problem. I've done a test and seperate them to do some training on each on it's own, but they don't like it, they keep on looking for the other one and they can't concentrate, so up to now I've trained them together. About the heat, yes. I asked someone else who also have huskies about training and they suggested that they get trained in the colder months. We got our sibes from a breeder. One can also rescue them. |

That is why some get nervous about litter mates. Often they'll be very difficult to work with if separated, but its best if you do separate them for training and what not. |

| We had/have someone else on there asking about litter mates and them bonding or something i never heard about, from the sound of it, it is good to keep them apart and such for training. make sure to do some training even if its just a little bit early and late when it might be cooler out, you don't want them to go from nothing to heavy training when it cools down. cant wait to watch them grow! _________________ |
