We've dealt with lots of judgement from owning them. People have threatened to poison and shoot them.
There are bad dogs in every breed, but no bad breeds.
For years? Like, did your parents have them? Because you're 20, so I'm curious as to how long you personally have had them on your own? We have lots of young members here that know their stuff (Kristina, Jennet..totally calling you girls out, lol
), so I am curious and not trying to be snooty. With your young age, how many have you actually had experience with? A few wouldn't count. We had rottweilers my whole life growing up and I still wouldn't say I'm experienced with them...because due to the live span of certain dogs, we really only had 5.
The thing is, though, wolf-hybrids aren't "breeds", they are not a purebred dog.

And...another great link I've read:

With any "mutt" you have to be willing to accept all traits that could come along with the breeds the dog is made of. If you own wolf hybrids you have to be fully educated in wolf psychology...which is related but not at all exactly like dog psychology.
A member here had his husky killed by a wolf-hybrid... a lady in Pennsylvania was killed by her pack of wolf-hybrids...as far as I'm concerned wolf-hybrids belong only with people who are devoted to studying and understanding wolves. You could get lucky and get a hybrid that's "mostly" dog, but there's no way to determine that. THAT'S what makes everyone leery.
There is a great book written by a woman who adopted a Husky/Wolf hybrid. Her journey was far from glorious.
