| Went out for Luka's late afternoon walk in the park and I was so relieved to see that he had firmed up (his poo was extremely watery early this morning) - needless to say I have become an expert in the bowel department these past few months!
Theres quite a few of us and we walk round in a big pack and there was this boy running laps, Luka normally ignores runners but this boys red tee was clearly attractive and he started jogging with the boy, when I called him back he sort of jumped up at him turned around and came straight back to me, while the whole time the boy was pleased to see him.
Well, the boys father yelled "oi" from across the park and started walking towards us... I didn't want to get anyone else involved so I paced in front of everyone to sort it out. When we got close enough it was clear he wanted a confrontation and he said "is that your dog?" I said yes and he got closer and 'poked' me on my shoulder telling me how my dog attacked his son, bla bla bla, anyway, i don't remember exactly what happened but his whole attitude just pissed me off and i gave him a piece of my mind got really up in his face at which point the owner of "ozzy" - this german shepherd we walked with came and spoke to the man before things got out of hand, he felt about 2 inches tall by the time i had finished with him anyway but ozzy's owner helped calm things down.
I hate it when a relaxing stroll is ruined by one uneducated imbecile.

| Sorry your walk turned sour Not sure how things are where you are or the rules of the park. But there is a reason for leash laws. They are there to protect the owner and to avoid run ins with people like that guy. I myself will never let my dogs off their leash even if I go some place that it's optional. Leashes at all times. There are really to many people looking for a reason to get rich quick now and days. Yea, my dogs stay on their leashes in public. |

| We were on the main playing field, where you are allowed to let your dogs off leash. |

| he wasn't really a kid, he was at least 16/17 training for something, so the father didn't even have to get involved. |

Sorry you're walk turned out sour. People like that should just avoid any places dogs are allowed. Runners have the whole park available to them, we should at least be allowed to let our dogs run free in designated areas! |
