Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. I also live with my husky in an appartment. The important thing is that you give him enough exercise.

The best thing I figured out with raising a puppy in an apartment, is to have a go bag for when you have to run outside. There is nothing worse than running around trying to find poop bags, keys, treats and whatever else you need while the clock is ticking between when he asks to go out and how long he can hold it. Before I got my go bag together he had a few accidents right in front of the door because I couldn't get my stuff together soon enough.

haha yeah i remember that too. most of the time we could'nt get outside in time. A lot of accidents happend in the stairway

Most things have been said already.
I would add alot of activities with your dog, so that he is tired when he is home.
And there is no real difference to raising a Lab, in the end a Husky is just a dog. Maybe your lucky and you get a quiet one, than even your neighbours Lab will bark alot more Very Happy. Mine for example does howl and bark extremely rarely

Hello All,

I am moving back to Southern California to start my after college life. I have a beautiful 5 month old Husky female named Bella. Does anyone know any apartments that they can suggest that allow huskies please. It seems impossible Sad

I don't know where you are going to be, but the management company I currently rent with in Colorado is called Equity Apartments and they are nationwide. In CO at least, they allow huskies. Could vary based on state but it does look like they have some Southern CA properties.

Try apartments.com according to that search there are 312 complexes that allow dogs ... now whether they allow Husky's, that'll be for you to find out.
There's an option at the top of apartments.com to "filter" for various items, dogs is one of the filters.

Almost all of Southern California is dog friendly now. With recent vaccination records and a pretty good deposit, they allow most all dogs although there is a small list of dogs they don't allow, all properties I've been to, I have seen at least one Siberian Husky.
