she would be a white husky!

Right now I would love a white husky, and when we get a friend for Koda, I hope that she (emphasis on she) will be white!

Sierra and Mika have me on a red trip lately. Plus I think that a red would really look cool against all of my gray sleds.

I think we would stick to the REDS! I just LOVE them!!! I always grew up with brown dogs and then we had B&W ferrets and chinchillas and it was ok, I just love our two! I would get one with more of Sierras coloring though since it as a lot of different shades in her coat where Jack is just Brown. As far as sex goes I'm torn cause they both are so different in the behavior that either would work.

my husband and i like the black and tan from arooroomom in FL! they are so different looking!! that and we like Roxy which is all white and I really like the red and white so maybe one of each color later on who knows :-)

why does it look so small for a mal? so cute though! I think we might think about a Malamute for our next dog. oh and Eddy I thought of Coco on our hike last weekend cause the one lady had her Male/female and she had to let everyone sniff her first and she kept being corrected by her mom for her to be nice. she did howl for us and it was great! speaking of I should post those pics...

Hmm, I always dreamt of having two huskies. A black and white with a full face mask and nose stripe (think Ashley's Meeka ), and a grey and white exactly like Becca's Arianna. Well, I did get a black and white (without a mask) that ended up turning more into a black, grey and white...kinda a mix of the two that I was originally dreaming of. If I could get another husky I would not be concerned about color, it would be whatever husky totally knocked me off my feet and won my heart at a shelter or husky rescue.

As the owner of two solid white huskies, there will be no more of this color . All my tee's are black (uugghhh), solid black from now on. Cindi dyes her hair, so we'll invest in enough dye for the new dogs too.

Nanuk & Isis are our black & whites, (tho nookie does have a lot of silver) and Mika is our red. I don't think I've ever seen a husky that wasn't cute! Mika reminded us so much of our Tia when we saw her at the shelter, there was no option but to adopt her! I must say that both Mika and our late Tia are very similar in their sweetnness. So, I don't know if the insanity only runs in the B&W or what, but I do know that Mika can get get crazy, but calms down much easier than Nanuk or Isis.

I already have a white, a black and white, an almost solid black, and a red sable. I would love to have a red and white, but my hubby does not like that color. I would not mind having an Agouti either. My favorite color would be the red sable if I had to choose.

I had always wanted a grey and white traditional husky, but when I went to meet Arapahoe's little she chose me andI have no regrets, so have to say that reds are pretty special. I have been told that here in the UK, where reds are pretty rare that all reds are from the same line, anyone know if that is true?

Last year we were exhibiting at Paws in the Park and we met another red, with his parent who were both black. This red was a year older than Arapahoe, but was teh splitting image of her. They could have been from the same litter.

If you look at Sierra and Jack they have all most the same face and chest marking! Sierra has much more fur and jack is taller then her but face wise they look the same. i just love them to death! i will fur sure be looking at reds again when the time comes.

I thought the reds were a genetic thing. As in the genes are there in every Husky to produce one, but they aren't always the dominant DNA sequence. Or something.
