Forum Rules | 1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect. 2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff. 3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned. 4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. | So earlier in the week I was in the chatroom and I don't remember who (sorry) said that Thor should already have his jewels and they should already be dropped. Now, I felt like a real weirdo looking at my puppys junk, and even weirder feeling around down there, he has them they are pea sized, maybe a little bigger, but they definately haven't "dropped" as such. Is 9 weeks cause for stress? I was under the assumption they didn't really drop until 4-5 months old? Sometimes longer? Sorry for the bizarre question, I don't want my boy having any issues. Still feel weird about what I did |

| His testicles won't have dropped by 2 months old, that's very young still. Usually around 6 months old most have dropped some have taken up to 8-10 months old that I've seen. Anything longer than that would be cause for concern and a neuter. _________________ Force Free Training ThreadCheyenne, Mishka, Mickey, Rodeo, & Odin Are you a Husky owner in South Florida?! | Both of Kale's decended when he was 5 months don't worry, i do weekly rub downs to check for lumps, bumps, and abnormalites so he's always getting felt up lol |

| Our trained suggest we did a touch every part of the dog giving them treats in order to help desensitised then for vet visits and the such. I would not worry about it. |

| I gotta disagree with you on this one Kristina. The majority of dogs do infact start testicle descent by 8 - 10 weeks. It should be fully descended by 6 months, but a close friend (and ethical breeder of Siberian Huskies) stated that she has very rarely seen testicles drop in a dog, if they haven't done so by 3 - 4 months. It's very rare.

| I'm a creeper too, we check Catos. at 10 weeks, his were like little pea-size bumps. If that helps.
As weird as it sounds, I check Delilahs goods too, simply because I want to be sure nothing is going wrong. |

| I know Balon had one descend before the other lol, but they are both down now, he is 5 months now! In fact tomorrow he goes for his second lymes disease vacc and I want to schedule his neutering! Poor guy! |

| When we first got Ares his original owner said that at 4 months his one testicle still wasn't dropped. Obviously I checked when we got home and they were both there. I'm sure they'll show up eventually |
