Yes prob let him out... even if he doesnt go pee he is getting the reinforcer that if he cries at the door then he can go out, half the battle in housebreaking....

But i will say, good luck expecting to escape any kind of whining or crying moving forward. I have never met any dog that never ever whined while crated, at least in the early going.
