Thought it would be fun to start a topic of all the different mask's husky's come with. I believe Thunder is called a "Open Face Clover Mask"

Note, Thunder is about 3x darker then when that photo was taken, I just don't have a recent one lol. Wolf grey I think they call it.


More recent..He just keeps getting darker o.O

Ashely, when Cheyenne was just a baby I left for NY for a week. She was with my then boyfriend and still had a lot of red and cream in her. I came back and it was like she had rolled in soot! I thought she was dirty at first but she had just gotten so much darker! The funniest thing. Odin is my only true open faced, the others have masks of varying degrees.

LoL yes I see from you photo, Its funny, I don't know because Thunder has "Eyebrows" if he is a true open face or not lol. I LOVE your gang. Yes Thunder is loosing almost all his redish cream color, he only still has it behind his ears and on the back of his neck. If I did not watch him change I would swear someone switched him lol.

i like how unpredictable a husky's mask can turn out. i dun hav a fav mask design but im sure Buddy has a fav of his own. The Mud Mask. Good for his fur i gues... My backyard has holes everywhere.

I have the 'I have no idea' mask. Its so unsymmetrical and I have no idea what its doing, I'll check back in a year XD

Klutch's mask is still in the process of changing and what not, but from last week.
he has a slightly dirty looking face. people ask if i need to give him a bath all the time

Onyx has kept his mask, it is starting to fade a little though. It isn't noticeably faded until you are up close.

Well, Maya isn't a purebred husky, but she mentioned to me that she wanted to participate because she thinks she has a great mask! Much like a purebred husky, her facial markings have been changing and blending in different ways as she grows older.

Luna at 6 months has so far kept her mask

This is the closest shot i had on hand i'll take another when i find mu camera.... it has grown a 5 yr old and walked away somewhere. lol
