Works splendidly. You only really have to think about it for the first four to six weeks. Then, if you've been doing it right, it just becomes the new routine. (There's another principle/method called "Premack" that is like advanced NILIF.) We have a very quiet household because of daily running and NILIF. Camping, not so much. I tend to slack and let them get away with reinforcing bad habits. But knowing that fact is half the battle, right?
