Hey there. I'm new to this forum. You can call me Tashie. On the 30th of this month I will be bringing home a siberian husky pup from a privet breeder. She saved aside this pup from the litter to make a future stud. Then she decided to sell him because she found what she was really wanting, a brown siberian. I'v decided to name my little guy Meeko. Meeko is a late Christmas gift from mother. He has blue eyes and a warm personality. His parents are gorgeous. We already own a beagle, a pug, and a few scaly friends. He'll make the perfect edition to our family.

Congratulations and welcome to the forum! There's a lot of information here about bringing home a new puppy! Read up well, and make sure you're prepared for the insanity that is being a husky owner

It can't be no worse then the beagle puppy stage. Chewing up everything. I'm looking forward to this.

Congrats Very Adorable face on Ur Lil One

This made me I remember my lab as a puppy he was soooo smart and easy to work with! And once he hit 1 1/2 years he turned into a chew-everything crazed monster dog until he was like 2 LOL! He is 6 now and hasn't really calmed down to much but he is calmer than 2!

Loki my 3 month old puppy has been challenging but he is starting to come out of his shell. I imagine a puppy from a responsible breeder and planning it all out and getting them at 8 weeks is a lot different then a rescue puppy with a questionable past. But none the less he is great fun ^_^

Meeko is adorable! His name reminds me of the raccoon from Pocahontas (or however you spell that). So Cute! I look forward to the homecoming pictures!

The breeder that Meeko is coming from, the lady is very knowledgeable on her facts. She told us about if the puppy gets sick in a certain period of time then the breeder has to replace it, ect, ect. I swear mother was on the phone with her for twenty minutes at least. Even though she is a two and a half hour drive away it's totally worth it. I can't wait until the day we pick up my little man.

Not for nothing, as I'm glad your breeder said that, but that's standard with any reputable breeder. Your dog should come with a health guarantee and breeder support for life, among other things. Twenty minutes is the least amount of time I would be spending on a phone with a potential breeder. It would probably be more like hours. Breeding is a delicate subject, but I believe that it should only done reputably.

But I too am anxious for you to get Meeko home!

Yes, yes. She did tell all this and a whole lot more. I bet it was more then twenty minutes. Okay, we went to another breeder that was a little closer. He didn't tell us any of what the lady had said. Plus baby huskies didn't seem too healthy. The price was a great deal more, too! Their eyes were very crusty, ect. I'm just glad we found this breeder. I can trust that Meeko is coming from a reliable source.

Welcome to you & your little man! Hold on to your hat, as it is going to feel as if a whirlwind has entered your home as he begins to mature (and for a while afterward!)

What your Beagle put you through will feel as nothing compared to the shenanigans of your Husky! But so worth it in the end. The only breed that has frustrated me to no end, yet made me laugh so hard my sides hurt.
