Hi I would like to get your guys opinion yesterday when I was walking my 5 month old husky i was asked if he was full breed I answered yes and he told me he looked mix I asked why and he answered because his hair wasn't as fluffy as his friends husky that he owned anyways he is 5 months old all white with blue eyes I would like to get your guys opinion on what you think pic below at 3 months

Looks husky to me. Huskies don't have only one coat type. My two are fluffy, my last two were fluffy, but not *as* fluffy, while huskies in the neighborhood have much shorter coats in most instances. I know my dogs are huskies, so if that question had been posed to me, I'd have asked the person if they are sure their friends husky isn't mixed, haha.

I have three Huskies, two Sibes and one Alaskan ... Since Avalanche, my Alaskan, and Sky, one of my Sibes, have a short coat and Sasha, my other Sibe, has a plush coat ... well, sum it up to say that people around here are confused.

If the person who's asking me if I'm sure my Sibes are pure bred is holding onto the leash of another Sibe I might consider their comment (mine're all rescues, I have no real ideal!) ... if he's holding anything else, I'll just blow it off to ignorance of the breed.

I'm not exactly sure on timing of the adult coat, but I believe it's within the first year or so.
