Oh Christina this is so sad I am happy that she was with you though and not alone in that yard! That would have been horrible and she would have lost the other 2 also.

she would have just bled out and lost them all with no one to even see it happen, I just feel so heartbroken right now I dont care that im crying, people in the er were giving me looks like, um ok its just a dog, but i had those tiny little babies in MY hands, i felt them struggling to breath, and had to hold them while they just died,

and my poor Isis, she just kept trying to clean them she knows she lost some of her babies and she cant even speak words to ease her pain, the only thing i can do is try my best to help her through this and be there for her every step of the way and love her and just do what needs to be done for her

Oh wow - I can't even imagine it. I'm so glad you were there for her. Poor girl, but she's in good hands now and we can only be thankful for that.

thats true, its just so hard to look at the brightside right now :/ Im going to go back to the hospital later, they said she needs to rest and its best not to excite her with being around alot of people, they are making me wait a few hours. Its going to be a very long time, well, it will feel like it to me.

It's easier for us to see the bright side because we were there and didn't go through the trauma of what happened. So sorry that you had to. Please give Isis a hug from all of us - we're pulling for her.

I'm so sorry for what you are going through; I don't know if I could handle that! Hang in there and stay strong. You really did save Isis in the nick of time. Despite all the bad that happened today; that is a miracle. Sending good thoughts and prayers your way. It's so amazing what you did for her!

I will be back on in awhile everyone, I still have blood all over me, I think I need a hot shower and maybe I will feel better.

OH and Megan, I applied a few days before I got Isis but havent recieved word from them yet, my vet says even if its denied he will let me do a payment plan as long as i put a down payment there wont be any problems.

Yeah, before I got her I had expected there would be problems and did everything I could think of to cover things if those problems came up.

That's horrible, good thing you found her when you did, she probably would have passed away as well out in the heat and blood loss right? Hope the other 2 make it.

Wow, that is so traumatizing. I have such a huge heart for dogs. I can't even begin to imagine what you just went through. Stay strong. You definitely did the right thing to rescue her! Just think about it - it was only a few days ago. You're an angel.

Well Isis is doing EXTREMELY well, She has a green light to come home later today, also we got her blood results back and everything is good except she is severly anemic which from what I hear is easily treated, Also he did a breed test on her which verifies she is not "wolf husky" Just standard siberian husky, they did run a titers on her and in fact she is not vaccinated but they wont give her shots until she has the pups. Also speaking of pups the two remaining are doing great.

ALSO really awsome news came to me this morning and its really sorta just..wow to me, My vet has been in the loop on Isis before I even got her, and he wants to start a local campaign to raise awarness on animal abuse and he wants me to be a big part of it and he wants Isis to be the face of this campaign

That's great news!!! So happy that she and pups are doing well and your vet sure seems like an awesome person also!!!

This new vet that Ive been seeing has been wonderful, he really cares about the animals that come into his clinic and this ordeal with Isis really effected him and he wants to be more proactive, Him and I have been talking today about alot of different ways we can spread the word and also put the fear of god into those people who are the ones abusing these animals. He was talking about a fly by night "coup" lol, he wants to print out fliers with the maximum punishments there are here for animal abuse and some other stuff on them and post them up on peoples doors/fences where there are animals being abused or neglected so they know get their shit together and take photos of the animals for documentation purposes and go after these people legally. He knows people in the police dept and he says he can get their help also pursing this.

I really like his idea, its a good warning for people, We are watching you, what youre doing isnt right, treat your pets right or we will. lol.
