So Luna is 6 1/2 months old and I took her into Petsmart today and put her on their dog scale. It said she weighs 45 pounds! I was super surprised because she's still short, a little less than knee height and smaller then the other Husky in the neighborhood. I know they don't get much bigger but i'm wondering do you think she is going to grow a lot more?

huskies will grow till they are about 2yrs old, best indicator would be what were the parents like?

Sierra is only 47lbs at 9.5yrs old, she is husky standard as far has height and length go.

Kerian is 2 plus years old she is about 20 inches tall and weight about 42 lbs. I believe she is still with in the Husky standards.

Ghost was 35 lbs at 6 months, and I want to say 18" tall (I don't remember exactly though). At 18 months, she's ~23" tall and was 43 lbs when we had her at the vet on Tuesday. She will probably gain a few inches yet, but shouldn't gain a ton more weight. Ghost is SUPER skinny right now even though she eats 2.5 cups of food per day, but I anticipate she'll put on another 5 lbs or so as she fills out.

As Jenn said, a lot of it does depend on the parents. Ghost's were both on the larger side, but not huge, so if you saw them you should have at least a ballpark idea.

On the one hand, you become a fierce defender of the ways in which your little one is perfectly ordinary — all the things he or she can do that are just like what everybody else does. And yet, you never lose sight of how absolutely extraordinary that very ordinariness is, how difficult, remarkable and rewarding that fight to be 'just like everybody else' has been."  -Gwen Cooper, "Homer's Odyssey"

right now (4 mths 3 weeks) he is 22 inches to the top of the should er and 51 lbs.... any guesses as to how large he will be? Bare in mind we don't know the parents, as we adopted Stig after he was found along side the road at 1-2 weeks old.

Balon was 46.4 lbs at the vet last week. He is under 9 months old. I haven't measured his height, but he seems normal to me lol
