Rolling Eyes Mine isn't. He is very spoiled and gets so much attention that I believe that's why he is very stuck up. I'm constantly bothering him with hugs and kisses and he usually gives me this blinking eye boredom look. I hear that everyone else's huskies are so affectionate. I only get a kiss if I ask for one with a treat. He is 6, I doubt he will change. Very affectionate to strangers tho.... Anyone in the same boat?

First thing in the morning she's very affectionate. I let her out and usually when she comes back in she wants to be loved and give kisses Smile it's my favorite thing in the morning. But honestly it's always on her terms. She wants to be petted on her time when she wants it. Little princess.

Loki has gotten more affectionate since his neutering. He literally licks my face clean if I'm on his level. I'm "assaulted" when I get home from work or if I'm gone for an hour. He gives me kisses if I make a kissing sound and if Kevin and I hug or kiss Loki has to be in on it too. But before he was snipped he was very standoffish.

Vegeta only wants love when he wakes up from his naps. And even then he just wants to play. He never does the whole, give me kisses and let em lick you. I take that back, he does when he's REALLY tired. He'll curl up next to me and snooze when he's SUPER tired, like so tired he sleeps through me carrying him to his crate, which is rare.

My husky is EXTREMELY affectionate. She gives us kisses on our faces every morning, if we leave and come back more kisses, if one of us leaves and comes back more kisses, etc. We always get kisses and if we don't let Anna give us kisses the more stubborn she becomes. It is best to just get down to her level and take the puppy kisses. We are almost ALWAYS with Anna, she is my best friend and she goes everywhere with me, if I could take her to my college classes I would. And she is way beyond spoiled. Hahah.

Nova is 50/50 its really on his terms. Whenever we wake up we get kisses and when we come back into our apartment (even if was only a 1 minute trip down to get the mail). To everyone else he is super affectionate and wants to give everyone kisses.

Yes, and no. Like most here, Mishka wants closeness when she wants to. She wants to be at your feet, most of the time. Others, she will just go off by herself. She is always affectionate with the kids, tho and other people. I think I can deal with that. I love her outgoing personality. A few times, she has jumped up on my lap for a quick head rub, then off she goes. If I had not just raised a male golden last year that is very independent, this would probably upset me!

Lucian only gets affectionate if I'm gone for a few hours. I'm a stay at home mom though, so I'm usually here. I'll grab him and give him a hug randomly through out the day, so that's probably why he's not affectionate unless I leave, lol.

Dakota can be, more with 'dad' than me. He likes to get right between your legs and stand there.
Juneau is on her terms mostly, though as she approaches her more senior years she is becoming more affectionate
Denali is a complete momma's boy cuddle bug and I love it!
Tikaani is super affectionate
Mason is an affectionate lap dog, unless it's work time then he's all business
Enya is a big cuddler and tummy rub beggar
Kenna is on her terms and usually more with me than with my husband
Rockie can be, but as he ages he's becoming more distant
Diamond is complete affectionate cuddler
Aspen is affectionate only to 'dad' could care less if I'm around LOL
Riley is sweet, but mostly when he wants to be

Balon is, and always has been affectionate with us. Really with everyone, except one of my sons friends, hes here a lot so I don't get why Balon doesn't seem to like him, he will just circle around him and bark lol. They guy does have two dogs at home, but so do a lot of people that come here so who knows lol. But Balon will kiss you, lay with you, snuggle with you. He is really affectionate!

Like someone else said before, Shelby is also very affectionate in the morning right around the time we let her out. & she doesn't really like snuggling with us, she mostly just thinks its play time alllll the time. She never strays too far away from us, she has to be close to either me or Joe. Rarely will she be in a different room as us. Talk about a companion! Unlike most dogs who find that constantly being petted is soothing, Shelby doesn't really care for it, unless your gonna scratch her belly. But if we try petting her for a while, she just instantly loses interest & walks away. lol
Each husky is different i guess. I read in this training book that "hugging or kissing" on your husky can be a sign of disrespect to them? & is a way of showing them that you are below them? I don't know how much truth there is behind that statement, because i do that all the time & she doesn't really act any different towards us.

My male is very affectionate. He will jump on me and let me give him "loves" he will lick me to death. Sometimes i have to tell him to get off...after a certain time..kinda afraid he might hump me..lol. Embarassed

My female, she lets me rub her belly as she jumps on me...but after a certain time, she will stop and walk off.

That's so funny, our dog (she is female) even though she's fixed she started this "humping" habit. lol. It's weird, she will randomly come up to Joe or me & mount on our leg & start humping. Kind of disturbing. ha

Karli is very affectionate...especially in the morning if the hubby gets her up and puts her in bed with me, then its lick city lol. She also gets very happy when one of us gets home from work, she is all about us for like a good fifteen minutes. Definitely brightens my spirits after a bad day.

Bella is very affectionate when I first let her out when I get home from work. She will demand I pet her and rub her back legs while she stretches. After I bring her in from her walk she usually wants nothing to do with me until bed and then occasionally she deign to sleep next to me.
