| Hi I'm new to this breed always wanted one and my wife finally gave in. His name is grizz and it fits him very well but I just have a couple of questions I keep seeing all these pics of husky pups with perky ears grizz doesn't have these. He is about 12 weeks he has put on about 10 lbs. Has huge paws seems to be growing very well but I was just kind of wondering about the ears do they take some time to perk up? I will put a picture up as soon as I can. |

| I think it would be easier for most of us to identify once the photo is up. Although, most husky puppies will have perked ears by around 8-10 weeks. It is still possible that your pup is just a little late as far as his ears perking up. |

| Look at the 'Stickies' at the upper right of your screen. There's one there for How to Upload Photos. |

| Grizz is adorable!
Are you sure he is a purebred Husky? That could be the reason his ears are not standing. He looks like he could be a mix to me, but I could be wrong.
If you don't mind me asking, where did you get him from? Breeder, rescue, Craigslist, etc. |

| He is very adorable! Although, I have to say, I definitely don't think he is a purebred husky. Those ears don't seem like they will stand up either. That being, he is still super cute! You have a nice looking pup |

| Well I have been doing a little reading and research from breeders and a lot of them are saying that it could take up to6-7 months and have actually found some pics. That look almost identical as far as markings go that look just like my grizz. I'm not real concerned about it I'm not looking for a show dog just a good pet so any advice on this breed would be appreciated. I'm used to labs and min pins just to give a little background. |

| Huskies are breed apart, they are so different, even a good book can't fully prepare you for owning them as i discovered, but they're wonderful nd Grizz is adorable |

With mom being an alaskan, you have NO idea what could be in her background. Alaskan huskies are a mix of a bunch of different breeds put together to make the most agile sled dog. We have one member on here who has one and she's a cutie. He is adorable!! |
