2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.

Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Hi all:

Lurker since October, but I finally decided to sign up to ask a couple questions and chime in on a few as well.  Ajax is my Husky/Malamute mix I picked up in Nor Cal in January.  He's supposed to have AKC parents, but who knows.  My g/f saw him online and I caved when I saw him even though i really wanted a rescue.  We named him Ajax after the Greek hero because we figured he'd be strong and brave, but it turns out he's just a big lovable lap dog. haha

Once I get a bigger backyard I believe there is a sizable husky rescue in Corona that i'll go to  in order to pick him up a friend.  B day is approximately Nov 17th.

Super cute!! Smile Welcome!! We are also waiting to get another Husky when we have a bigger back yard... I think having two is much easier than one. Or at least that is what I have read.

Welcome Ajax is a real cutie..

You know that Huskies are like potato chips you can just have one.

We got our second one a rescue about 8-9 months after getting the first one...

When getting a second one do take the first one to insure they will get along.

Thanks for the warm welcome all! I definitely can't wait to get him a friend. He loves the dog park, and needs someone to play with during the day. Anyone have a husky with serious separation anxiety? Ajax is perfectly fine being crated for half the day, then let out at lunch, and then crated again until i get off of work, but will not accept being left in the back yard. I figure he could dig, chase bugs, run around, etc.... but he hates it.

I think it is better to crate a husky during the day leaving them in the back yard they could dig a way out under the fence when bored or worst someone could let them out or steal them.
