Grizz when we first got him had a bit of a biting issue. After some work with him and a 3-4 weeks he seemed to be ok. Well yesterday my wife was trying to get him out side he wouldn't go so she grabbed him by the nape of the neck and he turned and bit her. Granted he still has puppy teeth but it bruised up. He is about 12 weeks old I have small children and can't have another incident like that I love him he's been a great pup. I need help

Did you get him from a breeder or shelter? Was his earlier biting issue aggressive biting or play biting? Have you ever grabbed him by the scruff before? I've had dogs that bite as a bad reaction to being grabbed there. Usually they either didn't get enough mommy time or that's been used as punishment so they associate it as a bad thing. You might try putting him on a leash to take him out, pushing him from behind, or picking him up instead of grabbing his scruff. Nearly every dog I've had has seen that grab as violent and will have an equally violent reaction. Also, when he's not wanting to do what you want him to it's best to take a step back and calm down. If she was angry when she grabbed him that is going to relay to him in how hard she grabs.

How old was he when you got him? Did he growl before he bit her? Did she grab him hard or without him knowing she was there? He might of just been scared, and did it our of fear. I wouldn't grab him there anymore, keep a collar on him and just practice having different family members touch around his collar, and give him treats when he doesn't react that way he can at least get comfortable with people touching him around that it will stop any future problems.

I agree with Erica, there could be a reason he reacts so aggressively (e.g. he could have been abused or punished by being hit in that area, etc.) and you should try to avoid being aggressive with him. Generally, dogs pick up vibes from their owners and if you punish with a spanking, try rolling up paper or something that won't allow your hand to come in contact with him, but rather the paper will. Don't spank hard, just let him know he should not do whatever it is you are punishing him for. Also, try using certain tones for certain things, Dragon always knows when he's in trouble because I raise my voice an octave and say his name a certain way every time he is in trouble. Anytime he hears that voice he lowers his head in shame haha. Otherwise, use treats and have family members be gentle with him and practice petting and gently touching him on his backside. Encourage him with lots of praise and treats and let him know he is not being harmed, but that you and wife are the alpha(s) and are in charge.. not him. Also, try teaching him a gentle command so that he knows when he's around the kids to be gentle and not to even play bite rough. Eventually, he will learn his place in the pack, but it may take awhile so don't get discouraged.

I saw that. When I replied they were both still empty so I just took one and ran with it. Seems everyone else ran with the other. lol. Hopefully they get merged. I'm curious as to why there ended up being two duplicate threads. Computer glitch maybe?

Sometimes certain dogs are just more aggressive than others. Getting him neutered as soon as its safe for him could help the aggression!

A lot of dogs are pretty touchy about being grabbed by the scruff or even the collar. I would suggest practicing gently holding that area regularly, with lots of praise treats. It is a rare husky that has true aggression issues, but they are headstrong and will take a mile if you give an inch. He may feel confident about bullying your wife now, so it definitely needs to be nipped in the bud! But he is plenty young, and if his only aggression thus far has been in reaction to something that probably scared him a little, I wouldn't be too concerned.
