Meet Luna, my sweet 8week old husky pup. Her ears havent popped yet. I am wondering should I train her for shows because she is AKC registered and both parents are as well and come from championship bloodlines? Also would you describe her color as sable? She has this moonlight grey color on her back which is why I named her Luna. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10152011170778888&set=a.181547838887.124978.535773887&type=3&theater

Well, I think you should train her for shows, if you want to show. Otherwise, find another activity to do with her. Is the breeder selling her with full registration? Most show breeders require limited registration unless the puppy is going to a show home. Have you been to a dog show before? You can search infodog.com to find out show areas and attend a few and decide from there. The ears will pop up eventually, some are later than others.

She is a cutie! There are a few others on this site who show their Huskies, I am sure they will have some great advice for you. In the meantime, reading the threads is really helpful in picking up a lot of useful information. You are probably going to have your hands full for a while with training - they can be stubborn little babies! I look forward to seeing and hearing more about Luna as she grows! Welcome!
