2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.

Snoopy went missing Empty
PostSubject: Snoopy went missing   Snoopy went missing EmptyMon Dec 02, 2013 3:25 am

So I got home from work this evening and I couldn't find Snoopy anywhere. I looked all over the house, my sister and I walked all over the property, then we went to my neighbors house, thinking maybe he went after the feral cats she feeds, the whole time whistling and calling him. We walked around her property, in the shed, everywhere. It's the middle of the night, we're technically trespassing, it was great. At this point I'm starting to panic, where the hell could he be?! Did someone let him out while I was at work and not contain him properly? My sister suggests we go get the car and drive around the block with the windows down, calling him. Maybe he'd bark if someone caught him and tied him up!

So we walked back to the house and walk up the porch steps and as I open the patio door he's sitting in the middle of the living room. Like he's waiting for us ._. He was in the house the whole time! D:< He must've been in my parents' room when we were looking for him, but blasted dog. Nearly gave me a heart attack!

It's a good thing right? Maya slipped out of my fingers Thanksgiving night and found something wonderful to scent herself with in the neighbors garden, smelled fishy. Luckily it washed out with Dawn and orange goop.

Great to hear he is home safe.. Happy ending.. yea..

Blaze got loose a week ago when we were getting ready to leave for a weekend trip we ended up spending 20-30 minutes looking for him. He just walk thru the neighborhood. We figured he had decide we had not had a long enough walk before leaving..

Whoops! Haha this has happened to me once.

I hadn't seen Juneau in the house for about an hr, so I decided to look around. I looked around every corner! Behind the couch, in the closet, etc. I assumed she wasn't in the bathroom because the door was closed... Wrong! She had somehow managed to close herself into our hallway bathroom and was probably in there for about a half hour! She didn't make a peep. It was scary but funny afterwards. lol

Right, happy ending! I wanted to strangle him!

I was mostly panicking about how he could get hit by a car! We live in a rural area, no one is shy about hitting anything that crosses the road. But I'm glad he didn't actually get out @.@
It was just so funny after the fact, and I'm glad I'm not the only one who's been blessed with this "exercise" xD

Kodiak did that to me one time, I had looked all over the house. He was playing me. When I was outside, he was in, when I came in, he went out via the doggy door. I was panicking until I finally caught him going thru the doggy door as I round the corner of the house the third time out.
