Just bragging here Simon just passed the AKC STAR puppy course! It was a lot of fun and in June we are going to take a basic obedience class if I can make it work with whatever job I have then.

Congratulations! Very Happy

Supposedly Yukon passed as well, but I never got a call from the trainer about the paperwork and stuff. So I'll probably have to bug them about that sometime soon.

Congrats to you and Simon! He's got a great start. I'm guessing this will eventually lead to him working toward his CGC title?

We are actually taking the CGC Wednesday. The club I went through for the STAR also has basic classes designed for CGC and the Star puppy instructor suggested the puppy class come early and take the CGC first. So we can have our dogs evaluated and know what we need to work on for the next CGC in August.

A few of the puppies were like 10-6 months so they might pass but Simon and I are just going to take it for practice.

We are going to take a basic class in June-August That should end fingers crossed with us passing the CGC.

Awesome! I'm going to wait until Layla's older and a little calmer before trying for CGC with her. That's cool that you can take the test and get feedback on what to work on for next time. And if Simon passes, even more amazing! I can't wait to find out how he does. Smile
