| Every time I go into my vets office with Simon he tells me this story of a husky that was his patient years ago. This dog was super friendly but was the biggest baby when it came to shots or getting blood work done. He would just cry and scream over needles that Yorkies wouldn't even flinch at.
After this and a few other experiences it has led my vet to think that sometimes huskies can be babies at the vets office. On the plus side he is impressed with how will Simon handles shots and exams.
Has any one else had there vet tell them funny Husky stories? |

| We micro chipped both ours, Tika didn't even flinch, and the gauge of the needle is pretty big. Then, our 60 pound big beast screamed and cried and whined for 10 minutes. Then we had to do anal glands......oh boy. I had the front end for that and I ended up with scratches all up my neck and chest. She had her paws on top of my head by the end trying to get away. |

| Dizzy totally adores the vet's office. They love him and give him tons and tons of treats. If he's gotten a treat somewhere, he remembers and he loves it. |

| Link loves his vet's office too. We walk by there all the time on our coffee walk and we took him in to get treats several times before his first appointment. Now when we walk by and don't go in he gets upset. We mostly go in to weigh him nowadays.
The first time we went in there happened to be a Husky the exam room and the vet tech goes " oh boy now he's here and with that one in the room, I'm gonna go ahead and get the ear plugs now."
They know good and well how vocal and talkative they are and they were well prepared and loved him. He didn't disappoint. |

| Beloved Grizzly didn't seems had any trouble in the vet clinic and he got super hyper after the blood tests, shots. Only one thing he did't really like was wormer, as soon as he knew the time, he will started to shake his head and tried to walk away. |

| Lycus absolutely loves the vet office as well. Treats and pettings are always fun for him. He was a quiet boy for his first set of parvo shots. When I took him in to get his rabies/2nd parvo, he cried like a baby with the rabies. When the vet was touching him to do the parvo, he started SCREAMING lol, and she was barely touching him. She couldn't stop laughing and she said "I haven't even poked you yet!" And then when she gave him the actual shot... more screaming. Haha, he hasn't cried for shots since but that was a funny day for all of us. |

| Koda loves going to the vet! They are all super nice to him and give him way to much attention lol. I will be sitting in the waiting room and the techs will come and pet and play with koda. And then the people with little yapper dogs just look at you in disgust like, "my dog is just a cool!"
Also my vet is amazing. He will just sit and pet your dog for a solid 5 min before he does anything. Thats every dog that comes in not just koda. He is a great guy. I actually need to bring koda in sometime this month for all his shots. They are so expensive though!!!! |

| Saber's really good at the vet but he's pretty used to it seeing as he's been going every two weeks for the last three years. He gets a shot when he goes and he doesn't make a peep. The only time he screams the place down is when he gets leashed to the exam lift. He doesn't like to be restrained at all. My vet calls them drama queens. |

| I wouldn't be surprised if Luci's former vet is telling stories about HER. Apparently she freaked out and bit the tech trying to put in an IV when she was there to be spayed. I knew nothing about this until a follow up visit when the vet came in visibly scared. I was holding Luci so he could examine her, and he kept saying how worried he was that I would get bit and lamenting that I didn't have her muzzled. I finally lost it and started berating him for making Luci more nervous because of his scared cat body language. Right before we moved I stopped by to stock up on heart worm meds and tell them we were leaving the area. They literally cheered. jerks. |

| Bode loves going to the Vet's as well, until we get into the exam room, then he doesn't want to go in. He always flirts with the receptionists for treats though. As long as he is distracted with treats he barely even notices shots. He had to get his blood drawn once and I was nervous about that, and he took it like a champ. |
