Forum Rules
1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect.
2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule.

I know  many of you have offered your condolences to me already but I still wanted to make a tribute to my sweet boy.

On Saturday I had to unexpectedly say goodbye to Saber due to some health complications. He had been with me through so much in my life, good and bad. So much of what I did everyday revolved around him and now I don't know what to do with myself right now. I miss him so much.

Saber was never the same after we lost his best friend, Sebby almost a year ago. I hope they're together at the rainbow bridge playing and having a good time without pain.

I'm going to miss so many things about him. A lot of small things. Just looking at him while he slept, how he still got excited for his walks and dinnertime and how he was a sloppy water drinker and always made sure he wiped his face on someone's pants lol.

Until I see you again, Saber, you will always have a piece of my heart with you. I'll love you forever.

Beth im sorry for your loss. I was following the last couple days hoping for the best. I bet saber and sebby are running all over the place having a great time!

Beautiful tribute. Again, I'm so sorry for your loss. Saber had a good, long life. I know you made his the best life he could possibly have. Rest in peace, Saber.

those are great pictures! i know he is watching over you now. I'm sure there is a huge void in your life, you really did do everything around him and that's what made you such a great mom to him, and he knew it. hang in there, it will never be easy but in time i hope the sadness you feel will be replaced with all the happy memories you had with him.
