2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Hello everyone just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Victor and I'm from California. I am a new husky owner. I had decided to finally get myself a husky and somehow ended up with two.

This is Luna and she is 13 weeks old

This is Loki and he's 11 weeks old

I'm really happy I got two, they are very happy together.

Congrats and welcome! Having two young pups at the same time can be a handful, there are a few threads on here that discuss it. Basically, you want to make sure that you do training and focused time with each of them on their own so they don't become too dependent on each other as opposed to you.

BTW, you have the same pic shown twice. He/She is adorable though, whichever one it is! How did you end up with two?

They are definitely a handful. Thank you for the advice.

I ended up with two because two weeks after getting Luna I can across Loki and his owners wanted to get rid of him and he didn't seem well taken care of so I felt that he would be better off with me. He's doing a lot better than when I got him and I am really happy that I decided to take him home with me.

Thank you, thank you.
I am from Fresno, CA

They always cuddle. That's how they like to sleep. I think it's the cutest thing because at first Luna wouldn't let Loki anywhere near her when she slept.

Hi Victor  Smile  Your babies are GORGEOUS! We got two (litter mates) as well. Having had "snow dogs" years ago, it seemed to me that they always did better with two rather than solitary. I'm glad to see that you rescued an unwanted baby!! Good on ya! Smile They look very happy & healthy...And YES, two can be a handful--but sooooooo worth it. Enjoy your new family!!
