| Dang, I have finals on Tuesday. I don't see myself getting to the beach before this contest is over. Ah well. Maybe August's HOTM will be better. |

Oy! We're 300 plus miles from any beach...does a fire district pond count? Or a finger lake (though it has zebra mussels that will cut his pads so I'm not keen on that) Husband does love the beach, though. Melissa's babies look gorgeous on the beach! |

| Jenn, your picture of the Colorado beach is terrific.
I wish I had a picture of this.
Sunday, Bodhi and I were walking on our road, the last mile of eight in the sun.
I got talking to a neighbor; Bodhi was panting and the neighbor offered Bodhi a drink.
We walked down to his pond, a deep little Japanese pond, very zen, surrounded by rocks.
Bodhi drank a lot of water.
Then he saw the koi.
He dove in and started swimming around.
He just wanted to know where those fish went (?) |

| Would be a good topic for me if it wasn't for every halfway decent beach banning dogs around here; and by "halfway decent beach" I mean the ones in Rhode Island, because they're way better than the ones here. :/ |
