It's called Two Dogs, Two Bones...I want yours! Wayne and I were just about rolling on the floor 2 nights ago - I was out of beef bones and the butcher wasn't cutting until Thurs so I picked up a pack of rawhide bones. Josh came over with Archer so I gave him one, too, since he kept snitching Ami's. What followed was a definite 3 stooges routine. One dog would walk over to the other and dangle the bone in his mouth, then run off. Once the other dog left his bone and ran after, the first dog would run back and grab the abandoned bone...and on and on and on. Sometimes they would stand there facing each other, each with a bone in his mouth, calculating how to get the bone out of the other's mouth Or they would lie on the ground, presumably chewing on their respective bones but one eye very carefully on the other. If the other on even momentarily looked away, POUNCE, gone the bone! But always with a "come and get me" look over the shoulder.

Dizzy and Rosie play, 2 dogs, 5 bones, I want them all... Goes a little something like this. I pull out a bunch of rawhides (because 2 isn't enough). Diz gets one, Rosie gets one, the others I dump in a pile on the floor. Eventually Diz settles down to work on one, while eyeing what Rosie is up to. As soon as he gets into it and gets it nice and drooley, she decides she wants his, so she starts to gather up all the other ones laying around, so she has all of them, and then starts pouncing on them. If Diz doesn't go for it (he's getting wise to her games), she comes up and stands over him and sticks her butt in his face then starts to majorly flirt. He can't resist, so he gets up to play, she snatches the bone and takes off. He gives me an exasperated, sad look and then woos at her while walking around in circles, while she totally ignores him and chews on HIS bone... Eventually he gives up and picks out another one, which he then gets all nice and drooley, and the game starts over. After a while, he decides its all too much and falls asleep, which Rosie decides is awfully boring, so she wakes him up by gently (and adorably) pawing his shoulder and licking his face. She is just so sweet about it he can't resist her charms... Women... This is shortly before he gives up and falls asleep...

Jen - that is a stitch (or should I say a "Howl") These dogs are sooo much like preschool/toddler children, just cracks me up. Jenn - I am trying to fathom that "no-mount-side hump" and I am definitely coming up blank! I still cannot imagine 2, loose, huskies in the house At least, not without a major homeowner's claim
