2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Has anyone tried a Weiss Walkie with their husky? I'm curious to see if it works. Nikolai isn't a puller on a Flexi lead, but on a 6' he feels like he's GOT to be out ahead of me as far as possible... wondering if this might be the solution. Wink

Do you have the flexi leash locked? If not, I'm not sure I understand your statement that he does pull if the lead isn't locked on a flexi-leash...

What am I missing?

With the Flexi, he walks about 6-10 feet in front of me, but rarely to the very end of the 16'. He'll stop to smell/mark as I walk by, then he'll walk to catch up, eventually pass (he walks faster than me), then he'll stop to smell something before the leash is fully extended again... does that make more sense? Smile

yes! thanks for the clarification!

have you tried the one I gave you? if not, maybe try that one first and if it doesn't work, then try this one?...no sense buying another one when you may have that might already work? (just trying to save you some pennies...)

Oh yeah - I will definitely be trying out the one you gave me soon... this one just happened to cross my path too, so I'm wondering if others have some experience with it. I'm not to the point of purchasing anything new quite yet. Wink
